Lamborghini Temerario: Ten years after the Lamborghini Huracán was introduced, the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based Italian supercar experts are introducing the Temerario, the Huracán’s replacement. The Temerario, however, swaps the long-running V-10 engine with a V-8 powerplant supported by three electric motors, unlike the Huracán and Gallardo before it. In addition to its updated hybrid drivetrain, the Temerario features a new design that prioritizes everyday usability and aerodynamics. The Temerario’s release has hybridized Lamborghini’s entire portfolio.
Hi-Po Hybrid
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine at the center of the lamborghini temerario is equipped with a hot-vee configuration, which places the turbos inside the V-shaped cylinder banks. By itself, the V-8 generates 538 pound-feet of torque between 4000 and 7000 rpm and 789 horsepower between 9000 and 9750 rpm. The highest boost pressure for the turbos is 36.3 psi, and the eight-cylinder engine can reach an impressive 10,000 rpm of revving. In order to reduce rotating masses, the engine has a flat-plane crankshaft and titanium con rods. According to Lamborghini, a lot of the components utilized in the engine are derived from motorsport knowledge.
An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission installed transversely behind the engine receives the V-8’s output. In order to use the same synchronizers for various gear torque routes, Lamborghini claims they were able to reduce weight by building an extra hollow shaft. As a result, the gearbox is claimed to weigh less than the Huracán’s seven-speed dual-clutch unit while enabling faster changes.

Two oil-cooled axial flow motors drive the front axle, providing the Temerario with all-wheel drive when required. Each electric motor has a maximum output of 148 horsepower. In addition to being able to drive the Temerario entirely electric, Lamborghini claims that the entire front axle system weights only 161 pounds.
Regarding carbon dioxide emissions, Lamborghini claims that its new supercar emits half as much as the Huracán. By acting as a “torque gap filler” between the V-8 and the gearbox, the third electric motor reduces gearshift lag, smoothes out shifts, and enhances responsiveness when stopping and starting again. Along with being an e-motor, this one is also a three-phase generator and starter.
A 3.8-kWh lithium-ion battery powers the e-motors, and Lamborghini was able to shoehorn the battery into the central tunnel to maintain a low center of gravity and optimal weight distribution by locating the gearbox rear of the engine. The battery can be fully charged in 30 minutes at a maximum power of 7 kW using an onboard charger, or it can be directly charged by the combustion engine or through regenerative braking applied to the front wheels.

According to Lamborghini, the Temerario can accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour in 2.7 seconds, with a maximum speed of 213 mph. Additionally, the lamborghini temerario’s front-mounted electric motors enable precise torque vectoring, which should improve its nimbleness in tight turns and stability in fast bends. As per Lamborghini, the torque vectoring technology produces more realistic driving characteristics because it primarily uses the e-motors and only applies the brakes when required.
The lamborghini temerario has three separate settings for using the electric motors: Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance. It also has a set of distinct drive modes: Città, Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Corsa Plus. In addition, the Lamborghini boasts a Drift mode with three levels of modification that allows drivers to create oversteer for entertaining slides.
Lamborghini Temerario Aero-Informed Design
With its recognizable wedge shape and pointed accents, the lamborghini temerario unquestionably has a Lamborghini aesthetic, although being slightly longer than the Huracán by about five inches. In typical Lamborghini style, there are lots of hexagonal cues. The daylight running lights are the most noticeable. These are located in the lower bumper and have an air tunnel that cools the brakes by directing air through channels beneath the headlights. With assistance from two more ducts located higher on the lamborghini temerario ‘s shoulder line and below the side window, a sizable air intake located just ahead of the rear wheels feeds the twin-turbo engine as it moves down the side.
The rear end features a fixed rear spoiler beneath the center-mounted exhaust pipe and the basic taillights, both of which are hexagon-shaped. Through a number of underbody fins, air is directed into the diffuser.
Daily-Driver Supercar
With its motorsport-inspired steering wheel and hexagonal air vents, the interior carries over the exterior’s design elements. With a single button press, Launch Control is engaged, while the traditional Lamborghini start/stop button is concealed beneath a red flap. With an eighteen-way adjustable, heated, and vented seat, the cabin is more comfortable than previous Lamborghinis. There are many high-grade materials available, such as suede, leather, and carbon. Additionally, Lamborghini claims that the new aluminum space-frame chassis expands interior space by more than an inch, providing greater head and legroom. The volume of the front trunk is around four cubic feet.
The passenger’s side includes a 9.1-inch screen that may provide driving information and vehicle functions, while the driver receives information from a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Although apps can be dragged from the central panel to the displays on either side, the primary entertainment and navigation systems are still accessed through an 8.4-inch screen in the middle of the dashboard.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported wirelessly by the infotainment system. In addition, the Lamborghini temerario can be ordered with three cameras, which enables a dash cam integrated into the car and a “Memories Recorder” that lets owners capture up to two minutes of driving. Lamborghini Telemetry 2.0, an onboard application with over 150 circuits loaded in that delivers data when driving on racetracks, is also made possible by the cameras.
Any Way You Like
The lamborghini temerario will be available in Blu Marinus and Verde Mercurius when it first debuts, but Lamborghini claims that its Ad Personam customizing section will provide over 400 colors and unique liveries. Bridgestone Potenza Sport or Potenza Race tires are paired with three distinct wheel styles, each measuring 20 inches in front and 21 inches at the back. The seats have four distinct stitch patterns and a large selection of colors to choose from, in addition to the option of carbon-fiber trim on the inside and outside.

Lamborghini also designed the Alleggerita package, which is a lighter option with a 55-pound weight reduction. The front splitter, side skirts, and rear lid of the package are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic; the passenger footrest and door panels are also made of carbon fiber. A different rear glass and side windows made of polycarbonate aid in losing a few extra pounds. Redesigned rear spoiler with increased downforce is another feature of the track-focused package.
Lamborghini has not yet disclosed the Temerario’s starting price or when sales will start. When it goes on market in early 2025, the 2025 lamborghini temerario should retail for about $290,000.
